WCSD offers Half-Day Kindergarten and All-Day Kindergarten classes within each home school. Westerville Concert Band Presents A Free Children’s Concert, 2/14 Please join the Westerville Concert Band at their annual Children’s Concert. Before and after this fun family concert there will be a hands-on instrumental “petting zoo” with instruments provided by Music and Arts store in Uptown Westerville. Kids can try out any band instrument, with guidance by band members! The program, titled ““HEROES and SUPERHEROES” will feature selections from Captain America, Tarzan, Superman, Star Wars, and more! Operation: Street Smart, February 16 Operation: Street Smart is a collaborative effort between D.A.R.E. and the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) of the Franklin County Sheriff's Department. The GOAL of Street Smart is to provide current and up-to-date narcotics information to those individuals who deal with today’s youth on a daily basis. Topics include:

Now in year thirteen, the GEM Awards program honors adult volunteers and staff in Westerville Schools who go above and beyond for students during the previous year. The Nomination period runs now through the end of the day on Friday, February 5, 2016, and winners will be announced in mid-March. The GEM Awards Celebration will take place on Monday, April 18, 7:00pm at Westerville North High School. In addition to individual recipients, nominations are being requested for the Terry Gordon Business Award, presented by our sponsor and GEM partner, Roush Honda.
